We made a whole weekend out of this engagement session. The day before this shoot we took photos at their favorite swimming hole in Redondo Beach. And at the end of the session we were graced by the most incredible blue sky with hues of pink and rich purple tones. It was one of those sunsets that gets you deep down inside, you can feel it. It was beautiful and we felt so incredibly lucky. Little did we know we were about to be graced by another stunner the very next day; a rich cotton candy sky that would knock your socks off. Joshua Tree always delivers no matter what it gives you, but holy moly did we get a special gift this time. These two in the desert were already magic and then you add in that sky, well damn, just damn.

If you are looking for a photographer who is professional, reliable, flexible, and immensely talented, work with Tammy! There are a lot of challenges you face as a person trying to get married in a pandemic, and from the second I spoke with Tammy on the phone, I knew I wasn't going to have to fret about the photography aspect of the wedding. She was so patient in understanding our somewhat chaotic vision and last-minute changes, and I was so thankful I got to work with her. She had such a positive attitude and all our guests commented on how great she was. And most importantly, her work was amazing! My husband and I had her shoot our outdoor engagement session and loved how elegant and artful they turned out. She also flew out to shoot our NY wedding! My parents loved her, which is very important to me, but it also is a great example of how comfortable everyone felt when it was "photo time" and during the reception. Weather had interfered with our outdoor plans and Tammy not only beautifully captured our last-minute venue change, but also helped the bride (me) gather her emotions as things were shifting, families were awkwardly wondering what's going on, and chaos loomed.
