Last weekend I photographed the Sarner family in Griffith Park at the Trails Cafe. This place is so cute and the perfect spot for a fall photo shoot. And it doesn’t hurt that I had a fun loving and adventurous family as my subject. I think little Rose has the cutest smile and she is quite the director. Many of the shots were her idea. I think her “surprise” face is my favorite. Later in the shoot she hiked up the hill and got a little splinter in her finger but she was quite the trooper while her dad removed it. A total pro!

Last weekend I photographed the Staat family. I see them once a year and every year I’m amazed at how much Peyton has grown. She really is turning into quite the young lady. And little Jake is such the explorer. I really got my exercise with him. He loves to walk and walk and walk. I’m sure he would walk clear across the neighborhood if his mom would let him. He’s just so adorable! And him and Peyton get along so well… she’s a great big sister!

I had the pleasure of photographing the Daly family again for the holidays. I always enjoy seeing them. They’re always so happy and such a loving family. Felix is getting cuter and cuter if that’s even possible and Beatrice is such a sweet big sister. She really likes to kiss him and she’s so gentle. It really is adorable!

I just shot Carolina and Robert’s engagement photos in Griffith Park. We had a great time hiking through the hills and finding fun little spots to shoot. And these two are just so adorable and cute together. They really made my job easy. They’re getting married next year in Chile… totally awesome! Congratulations you guys! Last weekend I met up with the Phillips Family in Santa Monica to take some family portraits. It’s been over a year since I’ve seen them and I can’t believe how much the girls have grown! Last time I saw Tessa she couldn’t even walk yet and now she’s running around in the sand looking for seashells. And Kayla has turned out to be quite the big sister. You can tell how much she cares about Tessa…. she was hugging her, dancing with her, and even helped her dig a hole in the sand. How cute! And Mom and Dad got in on the action too… chasing the girls around and even getting a little wet. I like that they’re not afraid to get a little messy and have fun.

Last weekend I photographed Evelyn and Manny’s wedding at Swiss Park in Whittier. Their ceremony was held outside just before sunset. It was gorgeous and very heartfelt. Many of their friends and family got up to share some words during the ceremony… from that a few tears where shed but the good kind. And their reception was quite the party. They had a full mariachi band which played throughout dinner. I love mariachi… they really know how to get the party started. Congratulations Evelyn and Manny!

Last week I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of some old friends of mine. I met these two years ago at my first job in Los Angeles. They weren’t even dating then… just friends… but time went on, everything fell into place, and look at them now… so completely in love. They exchanged vows on the beach at the St. Regis in Dana Point. It was an intimate ceremony with only their family members present. It was such a special day full of love and tears and I feel so honored to have been a part of it. Congratulations Kelly and Eddie!

Beatrice just celebrated her second birthday! Her party was held in the backyard with homemade pasta and cupcakes on the menu. She had such a great time running and playing with her cousins. Everyone would chase her and once she was caught she’d say, “Again! Again!” Just too cute!! This little one is such a joy. I’m so glad she had a fabulous time at her party.

Last weekend I met Rylie in Griffith Park to take a few photos. She has just turned one year old and I just can’t believe it! She was running through the park, dancing and laughing. And she was quite the fall fashionista in her sweater and boots. Too cute!! It is always a pleasure to see this little smiling princess. Happy Birthday Miss Rylie!

Nicole and Daniel said their “I do’s” at the Calamigos Equestrian Center in Burbank. They opted to see each other before the ceremony which I love because we had a ton of time for photos. We had soooo much fun! These two really have a great sense of humor. They had some fake mustaches for their photo booth which we incorporated into their shots together. Too funny! I had such a great time at their wedding. All their friends and family are so nice and thoughtful… even surprising them with a heartfelt song and a homemade video at their reception. Congratulations you guys… I’m so happy for you two!
