I loved the energy of this day so much! These two were lucky enough to hold their ceremony at Audrey’s grandmother’s home in Calistoga. This beautiful property was peppered with live oaks and had already been the site for five other weddings within their family. You could feel the nostalgia and it was wonderful to speak with her grandmother about the history of her home and the past celebrations that were had there. It really was extra meaningful and I felt lucky that I got to be a part of that.
Audrey and Chris exchanged heartfelt vows through tears and laughter as their dog, Jasper, roamed at their feet. Their family and friends shared stories and words of love that had me wiping away my own tears. We took photos with a dark blue Mount Saint Helena in the distance and recounted the day as the sun was setting. And as the dance party ensued underneath the trees and stars I found myself so grateful that I get to share in these moments and capture these beautiful connections. It makes my heart so happy.
