I had the opportunity to shoot the most amazing rustic farm wedding at Cuffey’s Cove in Elk, CA. Picture this: a hilltop ceremony overlooking the ocean, surrounded by rolling hills and the charms of Northern California’s Mendocino County. It was like stepping into a dream!
Nestled among towering trees, the ranch exuded a tranquil and rustic vibe that perfectly set the tone for the day. The ceremony itself was nothing short of magical. The couple stood at the hilltop as the wind swirled through the grass, and the sun painted a golden hue over the hills. It was pure magic.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration began in full swing. The reception took place in the barn, was transformed into an inviting space filled with love, laughter, and dancing. The guests enjoyed fresh paella and raised their glasses to toast the newlyweds. From the heartfelt speeches to the wild dance floor shenanigans, every moment was full of joy. So much fun!
One of the highlights was the glamping experience provided at Cuffey’s Cove. Guests got to fully immerse themselves by spending the night in tents scattered around the ranch. They woke up to stunning sunrise views over the ocean making it a glamping experience like no other.
Northern California’s Mendocino County truly shines when it comes to outdoor weddings, and this one was no exception. The combination of the breathtaking hilltop ceremony, the cozy barn reception, and the magnificent ocean view created an atmosphere like no other. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to document this magical day.
