I love capturing destination weddings and I was beyond thrilled when I was asked to photograph a wedding in the heart of Baja California, Mexico. The location was Bruma Casa 8, nestled in the picturesque Valle de Guadalupe, known for its breathtaking wine country.

When I arrived, I couldn’t help but feel inspired by the rustic charm of the venue. Bruma Casa 8 exuded a contemporary design, with chic touches that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. With its earthy tones and rugged terrain, it provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate celebration.

One of the most memorable moments from the day was when the couple exchanged vows under an ancient oak tree, with the Valle de Guadalupe stretching out behind them. The sun trickled through the leaves, casting dappled light over the entire scene. It was a truly magical moment, and I felt privileged I got to be a part of it.

Another highlight of the day was the reception which included a six course meal from Fauna Restaurant and toasts that sent waves of laughter and tears through the tables. The energy was infectious, and I couldn’t help but get swept up in the joy of it all.

This wedding truly was an unforgettable experience. The blend of rustic charm, contemporary design, and the colorful elements of Mexico created an atmosphere that was both magical and authentic. It was a true honor to be a part of this day and to capture the overflow of love and joy.

If you are looking for a photographer who is professional, reliable, flexible, and immensely talented, work with Tammy! There are a lot of challenges you face as a person trying to get married in a pandemic, and from the second I spoke with Tammy on the phone, I knew I wasn't going to have to fret about the photography aspect of the wedding. My husband and I had her shoot our outdoor engagement session and loved how elegant and artful they turned out. She also flew out to shoot our NY wedding! My parents loved her, which is very important to me, but it also is a great example of how comfortable everyone felt when it was "photo time" and during the reception. Weather had interfered with our outdoor plans and Tammy not only beautifully captured our last-minute venue change, but also helped the bride (me) gather her emotions as things were shifting, families were awkwardly wondering what's going on, and chaos loomed.
