Earlier this week I took some portraits of Sabrina and Axel. They really wanted some studio shots so the day before their wedding we set up some lighting and got creative. These two are so playful and Sabrina really knows how to work the camera. It was great! I love the shot of her on the red couch. The next day I met them in Redondo Beach at the pier where their ceremony was held. They only hired me to shoot their portraits after so we met up at the Public Library to take a few shots before their reception. This is a great location to shoot… especially on a windy day. We took full advantage of the architecture and bright colors. And I could’ve shot these two all day! Just look at how much fun they’re having. Congratulations you two and have fun in Hawaii!

This week I had the pleasure of photographing Elise and her pregnant belly. Her and her husband are expecting twin boys in the next few weeks. Can you believe it? Doesn’t she look amazing! I can’t wait to meet the two boys once they arrive.

Kaya was feeling a little left out.

Last week I met up with the Parent Family to shoot a few pics of Lira. She is such a cutie pie and she has so many expressive faces. She was really cracking me up because she’d go from a very contemplative look one minute to a super sweet laughing smile the next. She really is adorable! And as they should be, her parents Leigh and Dustin are so proud of her. Just look at how they look her… too cute!

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with the Daniel Family at their home in Fresno. Their son Sebastien was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. He has lost his hair but he hasn’t lost his spirit. This little guy is so full of life and such a typical boy… he was running through the mud, rough housing with his dad and brother, and catching spiders. And the rest of the family is so full of love and support that they have all shaved their heads as well. Sebastien is so incredibly lucky to have such a caring and devoted family. He has a long road to recovery including a bone marrow transplant to be donated by his older brother, Julien. With this means that both his parents will have to take several months off from work to care for their sons during this trying time. Last week I met up with the Daly Family again for some fun family photos. It was Nanna’s birthday so I got a few shots of her with her wonderful grandchildren. Then I stayed around a bit and got a few of the kids playing. The kid’s have a fantastic wonderland in the backyard complete with tree houses, zip lines, and slides. It was hard to keep up but it was so much fun. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… what a great family!

Yesterday I met up with Amber and Marcus to shoot their engagement session. They are both huge music lovers so they decided to have their shoot done at Amoeba Records. What a great idea! The photo ops were endless and we had such a great time. Amber and Marcus are just so cute together… just look at how sweet they are. I can’t wait for their wedding in August.
