The Jaeger Family

August 29, 2008

Earlier this week I met the Jaeger Family at El Matador to shoot some family portraits as well as the new addition to their family, Cooper. Cooper is a Goldendoodle and an absolute bundle of joy. He fits right in with this fun and adventurous family. We started with a few fun portraits on the sand and then it was off to the water for Sara and Molly. They couldn’t wait to start surfing the waves and that’s exactly what they did. I must say I’m impressed with their stamina and ability to stay in the cold Pacific as long as they did. Michael Phelps watch out!

Here are a few favorites from the day.

This is one of Sara’s favorite Pokemons.

Look how cute Cooper is.

Molly loves to surf the waves.

Sara’s sucker fell in the sand…. what a face.

On Sunday I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of two good friends of mine, Jocelyn and Paul. The said their I do’s at Westlake Village Inn which is a beautiful spot for such a special occasion. Jocelyn and Paul both looked stunning and brought their usual comedic style to the day. Not only was the day full of heartfelt and sincere moments but it was also filled with many laughs. These two are a perfect match and I was so honored to have been able to share in their special day. I’d wish them both luck but I know they don’t need it. Congratulations you two!

Here are a few favorites from the day.

Reception Fun…

There was a photo booth provided by Red Cheese. It was so much fun and probably the best I’ve ever seen. Definitely check them out for your next party… loads of fun!

Andrea and I couldn’t resist…

Some details from the day.

For a wedding like Jocelyn and Paul’s check out these vendors…

A while back I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Kevin for their wedding and now I have the great pleasure of photographing the beginning of their journey through parenthood. What a special moment to be a part of. Rachel is an absolutely stunning mommy to be and Kevin is already a smiley proud papa. What a beautiful family they’ve created together. I can’t wait to meet Miss Rylie when she arrives in just a few weeks. Congratulations to the Llamido family!

Jackson and Max

August 7, 2008

Last Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Jackson for the second time and also meeting his new baby bother Max… Or as Jackson likes to say, his “brudder”. Max is just adorable and Jackson is the usual ham that I remember. They spent the afternoon playing outside on their new swing set and showing me how to have a dance party in their playroom. What a fun and delightful couple of boys. We wrapped up the day playing peek-a-boo with the comforter on the bed. I think these two could play that game for hours. They are just too cute for words.

Here’s a few favorites from the day.

Mia was feeling left out.

One… two… three!

Jackson decided to take my shoes for a spin.
