Beatrice just celebrated her second birthday! Her party was held in the backyard with homemade pasta and cupcakes on the menu. She had such a great time running and playing with her cousins. Everyone would chase her and once she was caught she’d say, “Again! Again!” Just too cute!! This little one is such a joy. I’m so glad she had a fabulous time at her party.

Last Monday I got to celebrate the 40th birthday of my friend Jen. She held the festivities at the Falcon club on Sunset. And I must say this girl knows how to throw down and party. There were bands playing the entire night, appetizers and cupcakes circling the room, drinks and more drinks, and lots of dancing. What a bash! Happy Birthday Miss Jen!

On Sunday I participated in a fundraiser for a local school, Larchmont Charter West Hollywood. I photographed seven family portraits that day with more than half the proceeds going to benefit the school. I always enjoy helping out in the community and especially contributing to children’s education. And not to mention I had a blast meeting all the families… what a pleasure! Last Tuesday I had the privilege of photographing the opening of Isla, a restaurant on Sunset Blvd. It’s right next to Red Rock and has amazing food and out of this world drinks. If you’re in the area you have to stop by for some of it’s creative cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Everyone there couldn’t help but get into the festive mood and have a great time. Check it out! I’m telling you… you won’t be disappointed.

Last Wednesday I was pleased to be a part of a fun filled benefit for the independent film, “A Marvelous Life”. It was held at The Colony Theatre in Burbank and was a marvelous night of theatre, song and dining. I had a fun backdrop set up where guests could come and have there photo taken. And I must say this crowd really hammed it up and had fun with the opportunity. I had such a great time and all for a great cause. Yesterday I had a great opportunity to be a part of and document Bloomingdale’s Shopping Benefit which was held in two LA stores. This benefit is held every year to support local charities through special events, live entertainment, and shopping savings. I met so many fun people and saw so many exciting vendors… and all for charity. What a great way to spend the day.
